Caleb was known for his physical strength, as well as his strength as a friend, leader, and classmate.
CalebStrong is a non-profit based out of Nashua, Iowa. It was formed in memory of Caleb Rilee Ulrichs. Caleb was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia in July of 2018. He spent most of his five month battle in St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester, MN. Caleb passed away on January 13, 2019 after a courageous battle. During Caleb’s journey, our family was given countless gift cards to help with food, gas, and general travel expenses as we traveled the two hours to be with Caleb as much as possible. We were fortunate to not have to worry about a hot meal or enough gas to get Caleb the necessary care.
To provide gas and food gift cards to families battling pediatric cancer or serious illness. We hope to relieve some of the burden of travel expenses for families receiving care away from home or facing long stays in the hospital.
